The purpose is not another badge. It is to help an owner understand the delivered stay, improve consistency and, where the evidence supports it, earn a controlled certification credential that guests and commercial partners can verify.

Independent by design
Application, payment, assessment and certification are separated. Paying an application fee or joining a founding cohort cannot buy or guarantee certification.
The current opportunity
Five founding positions in Melbourne.
The Australian programme is deliberately starting with a small Melbourne cohort. Applications are reviewed individually, and selected motels move through an evidence and assessment pathway before any certification decision is made.
Standard certification programme
NZ$1,250 + GST first year
NZ$1,437.50 incl. GST. This comprises NZ$300 + GST for the application and initial-assessment contribution and NZ$950 + GST for the annual certification programme. Standard annual renewal is NZ$950 + GST (NZ$1,092.50 incl. GST). No payment is taken when the application form is submitted, and payment does not guarantee certification.
