AU Motel Standards™ certification is designed as a controlled guest-confidence credential. Payment, application or pilot participation cannot purchase or guarantee certification.
Evidence review
AU Motel Standards™ reviews the property information, photographs and relevant supporting evidence confidentially.
Assessment
The property is considered against the Australian standards framework. Further information or improvement may be requested.
Independent decision
Certification is never automatic. An authorised decision is recorded only when the required evidence and review are complete.
Controlled publication
An approved motel may receive a numbered certificate and public verification record. Publication remains a separate approval.
Melbourne standard certification programme
NZ$1,250 + GST first year
NZ$1,437.50 total incl. GST
NZ$300 + GST application and initial-assessment contribution.
NZ$950 + GST annual certification programme.
Standard annual renewal: NZ$950 + GST (NZ$1,092.50 incl. GST).
Fees are charged in NZD by New Zealand Motel Standards Limited. Exceptional travel, additional physical reassessment or non-standard scope is quoted and agreed in advance. Payment does not guarantee certification.

AU Motel Standards™ is an independent private certification programme. It is not government accreditation, regulatory approval or a legal compliance certificate.
